Mehrdad Sheikholeslami

Mehrdad Sheikholeslami, Ph.D., currently serves as Principal Engineer and Microgrid Design and Study Lead at Quanta Technology, LLC since June 2022. Previously, Mehrdad held roles as Senior Engineer at the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation from August 2018 to May 2022, focusing on microgrids, renewable integration, and energy markets through various DOE-funded projects. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, and an Electrical Supervisor at Tivanic Lift Co. Mehrdad obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in May 2022, as well as a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from the University of Tehran. Early education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Azad University.
