Axel Wassington

Axel Wassington is a DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer at Quantagonia since July 2022 and a Research PhD Student at the Barcelona Neural Networking Center concurrently. Previously, Axel worked as a Research Intern at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, developing a machine learning function orchestrator, and as a DevOps and Software Engineer at Cignium Technologies, focusing on deployment pipelines and WCF implementation. Early career experience includes web development at Layka Soluciones and software development at Gameloft. Axel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master's in Innovation and Research in Informatics from the same institution, and a Bachelor's in computer engineering with a minor in computer intelligence from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
