Alexandre Catarino

Alexandre Catarino has been working as a Quant Developer at QuantConnect since October 2015, contributing to the development of QuantConnect LEAN. Prior to this, Alexandre was the Owner of A&M Catarino from June 2015 to March 2017 and worked as a Trading Strategy Developer at Capital Investimentos from December 2011 to December 2015. Alexandre also served as a Weather Forecaster Officer in the Portuguese Air Force from September 1997 to October 2006. Educationally, Alexandre pursued a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Lisbon from 2000 to 2006, and is currently a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate in Meteorology at Pierre and Marie Curie University since 2006.
