Alexander Wiener

Principal Computational Scientist at Quanterix

Alexander Wiener has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Alexander started their career as a Tutor and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Tulane University, where they provided support in a variety of subjects. Alexander then moved on to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they focused on research and teaching. In 2014, they joined DEKA Research & Development as a Systems Engineer and later as a QA Test Engineer. In 2017, Alexander joined Quanterix as a Software Engineer, eventually progressing to the roles of Senior Computational Scientist and Principal Computational Scientist.

Alexander Wiener received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Tulane University from 2001 to 2005. Alexander then pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007. Eventually, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2013.
