Jim Maki

Jim Maki has extensive experience in business development and sales within the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. As the Senior Central US Region Business Development Manager at Quanterix since June 2016, Jim focuses on Simoa technology, enhancing sensitivity in research methodologies. Previously, as Midwest Regional Sales at Formulatrix, Jim managed sales across 22 states, specializing in innovative liquid dispensing technologies. Holding positions such as VP of Global Reagent Sales and Vice President of Sales at IntelliCyt Corporation, Jim achieved significant growth by commercializing high throughput screening solutions. Jim also served as VP Global Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at TWD TradeWinds, with a notable 60% growth in 2011. Earlier roles include Director of NA Sales at ForteBio, VP of Marketing & Business Development at NewLink Genetics, and Regional Manager at Ciphergen Biosystems, among others.
