Maggie Kiraga

Maggie Kiraga is the Director of Research at Quantified Citizen, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they were an Associate Researcher at the same company from March 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were a Research Associate at Maastricht University from February 2020 to December 2020, where they cleaned and performed visual exploration of datasets including demographics and test results of 500 participants, implemented statistical tests to explore trends in data, created slideshows and presented the findings to a group of colleagues to discuss publication possibilities, and wrote a paper discussing the gathered findings with two other co-authors. Maggie was also a Research Assistant at Maastricht University from February 2019 to August 2019, where their duties included recruitment of participants, management of on-site trials, collecting data (both in the lab and external locations), entering and analyzing the gathered data, and writing a Master’s Thesis. Maggie Kiraga began their professional journey as a Program Participant at PREMIUM Excellence Programme Maastricht University from January 2019 to May 2019.

Maggie Kiraga has a Master's degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from Ghent University, a Master's degree in Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from Maastricht University, and a Nanodegree in Data Analysis from Udacity. Maggie also has a certification in Introduction to Programming Using Python from Udemy.
