Spencer Mather

Spencer Mather is an Advanced Physicist at Quantinuum, where they focus on applying their extensive experience in cryogenics and UHV systems. Spencer discovered their passion for lab work during college, studying thermoelectric materials under a professor in both the materials science and physics departments. They hold a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Michigan State University, where they contributed to research that led to two publications. Throughout their career, Spencer has consistently straddled the fields of engineering and physics, driven by a desire to explore and optimize processes.
