Armel T. Ayimdji

Armel T. Ayimdji, PhD, is an accomplished expert in Conversational AI and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Conversation Bot Engineer at Quantiphi and a Conversational AI Architect at Google, Armel manages stakeholder expectations and enhances customer experiences through collaboration on AI model development. Additionally, Armel leads AI-for-Good initiatives as a volunteer Lead ML Engineer and Data Scientist at Omdena, while also teaching full stack development as a Visiting Lecturer at Université de Sherbrooke. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University and Assistant Professor at Institut Universitaire de technologie de Douala, where Armel conducted significant AI research and taught a variety of computer engineering courses. Armel holds a Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things from Université de Sherbrooke and has completed postdoctoral studies in Conversational AI at McGill University.
