Nico Farr

Nico Farr has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Nico is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Quantitative Brokers, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Program Manager at the same company from April 2023 to July 2023.

Nico has also worked at Deutsche Börse, where they held various positions over a span of several years. From March 2019 to March 2023, they served as the Executive Director Data Engineering, leading a department of 10 teams and delivering solutions for trading, clearing, and risk areas. Nico also played a key role in creating and executing the data platform roadmap aligned with the company's IT and business vision and strategy.

Before their executive role, Nico held positions such as Director DevOps Data Platform & Corporate IT, Team Lead DevOps Data Platform, and Software Engineer Data Platform at Deutsche Börse. Nico joined the company in November 2009 and left in March 2023.

Prior to their time at Deutsche Börse, Nico worked as an IT Consultant Financial Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers from February 2008 to October 2009.

Nico Farr obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Universität Osnabrück in 2006. In 2007, they completed a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the same university. From 2001 to 2003, Nico worked as a Banker at Deutsche Bank. In 2018, they earned a Master of Business Administration degree in General Management and Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Additionally, Nico has obtained various certifications, including the AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2020.
