Alberto Vergara

Alberto Vergara has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Alberto is currently working as an Engineering Lead at Quantium since June 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Engineering at VOLY from October 2021 to June 2022. Alberto also worked at Prezzee as a Technical Lead from October 2020 to November 2021 and as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they served as the Director of Lambek Development Pty Ltd from July 2019 to February 2020. Alberto has also held positions at Ansarada, where they worked as a Lead Scientist from November 2018 to July 2019 and as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2016 to July 2019. Alberto has experience as a Software Developer at Cammy from March 2016 to December 2016 and at Jigsaw Technology from January 2015 to January 2016. Alberto's early work experience includes being a Casual Academic at UTS: University of Technology, Sydney, where they were involved in teaching and marking from January 2010 to January 2014. Alberto began their career as a Software Engineer at Inflection Point Systems from January 2005 to January 2006.

Alberto Vergara has a strong educational background in computer science. Alberto completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2000 and 2005. Alberto then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney from 2007 to 2009. Continuing their academic journey, Alberto obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the same institution, the University of Technology Sydney, between 2010 and 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Alberto Vergara also received a certification as a Professional Data Engineer from Google in October 2022.
