Dusan Ignjatovic

Dusan Ignjatovic has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Dusan started their career at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences as an Undergraduate Teaching Associate in 2016. In 2014, they joined FONIS, where they held the positions of Board Member and Team Member. In 2018, Dusan worked at VARHAK DOO as a Research Development Software Engineer and Project Lead, where they were responsible for collecting requirements, designing project architecture, and developing back-end infrastructure.

In 2017, they became self-employed, working as a Freelance ML and Software Developer until 2019. During this time, they gained experience in machine learning and software development.

Currently, Dusan is employed at QuantLabs as an Engineering Team Lead since August 2022. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineering Lead from February 2021 to August 2022 and as a Software Engineer from August 2019 to February 2021.

Throughout their career, Dusan has demonstrated skills in software engineering, backend development, API design, and project management. Dusan is experienced in various technologies such as Python, Flask, Django, Express.js, and databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Dusan Ignjatovic completed their education at the University of Belgrade. Dusan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in 2018. Dusan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Intelligence and Machine Learning from the same university, which they completed in 2019. In addition, Dusan acquired certifications such as Deployment of Machine Learning Models from Udemy and Collaborator GOLD, Problem Solver GOLD, and Three-tier Designer from Credly.
