Andreas Amann

Andreas Amann is a Senior Research Physicist/Product Development professional at Quantum Design since February 2003, where responsibilities include UX/UI design for the FusionScope Desktop application and serving as Product Manager for the MPMS® 3 magnetometer, leading engineering R&D efforts. Notable achievements include the development of a flagship SQUID-based magnetometer with multiple patented technologies and the successful market release of innovative measurement options. Prior experience at BRUKER involved designing ultra-compact magnets for an award-winning NMR system, resulting in eight patents. Andreas Amann earned a Ph.D. in Physics from ETH Zürich, followed by post-doctoral research at UC San Diego, and holds a Diplom from ETH Zürich.
