Nevagay Abel

Nevagay Abel is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Quantum Design Inc. since February 2006, responsibilities include acting as the Management Representative for ISO 9001:2015 and achieving Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2022. Previous positions at Quantum Design include Electrical Engineering Manager and Control Systems Engineer, where responsibilities involved designing and programming PLCs and HMIs, as well as overseeing startup and testing processes. Earlier in the career at Ipsen International GmbH, leadership was demonstrated as the Electrical Engineering Manager, managing a team of twelve engineers and focusing on design standardization and cost reduction, in addition to serving as an internal auditor for ISO 9001. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from La Salle University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
