Katherine Atkinson

Katherine Atkinson has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the life sciences industry. Katherine is currently working as the SVP of Demand Generation and Corporate Brand at Quantum-Si since 2023. Previously, from 2021 to 2023, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Evofem Biosciences.

Katherine also worked as an Advisor at Pleno Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they had board roles at the Center for Community Solutions, serving as the Board Vice President from 2021 to 2022 and as a Board Member from 2019 to 2022.

From 2019 to 2021, Katherine Atkinson worked as the SVP of Commercial at Truvian. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Epic Sciences from 2018 to 2019.

Before their time at Epic Sciences, they were the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Edico Genome, an Illumina company, from 2018 to 2018. Katherine Atkinson also had an extensive tenure at Illumina, where they held various leadership roles. Katherine served as the Commercial Director of Global Channel Partners from 2016 to 2018, the Director of Global Channel Partners, LATAM & Inside Sales, Demand Generation & Product Care Teams from 2014 to 2016, and the Global Sales Manager of Molecular Biology/PCR Products from 2012 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, they gained experience at Beckman Coulter as the National Sales Manager of Life Science Distribution and as a Senior Distribution Territory Manager. Katherine started their career at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Territory Manager, where they achieved exceptional sales performance and was consistently recognized with awards for their performance.

Katherine Atkinson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Public Speaking from the University of Houston. In 2020, they also completed a Mini MBA program in Marketing from Marketing Week with Mark Ritson.
