Barak Dayan

Barak Dayan has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. In 2021, they began working as the Chief Scientist at Quantum Source Labs Ltd. From 2008 to 2021, they held the role of Associate Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), under Prof. Jeff. H. Additionally, from 1988 to 2005, they worked in the Israel Defense Forces in a role titled Talpiot X.

Barak Dayan has a comprehensive education background. Barak completed their B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1991. Barak then went on to obtain their M.Sc. in Applied Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1998. After that, they earned their Ph.D. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2005. Finally, they completed a Postdoc in Quantum Optics at Caltech in 2007. Barak also attended Tel Aviv University, though no degree or field of study is specified.
