Melissa Walsh is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in family support, child wellbeing, and crisis intervention. Currently serving as an Orange Door Hub Practitioner specializing in Family Violence and Child Wellbeing at Quantum Support Services Inc., Melissa previously held various roles, including Restoration Support Worker and Family Support Worker at Wanjana Lidj, where responsibilities included assessing family environments and providing guidance. Melissa's experience also encompasses leadership roles such as Family Engagement Team Manager at Key Assets (Australia) and Team Leader for Early Intervention at the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA). In addition to practical work, Melissa has pursued higher education, including a Bachelor of Social Work at Deakin University and a Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy from La Trobe University.

Quantum provides support and care across all our local government regions to address the need of local Gippslanders. Quantum provides a range of services throughout Gippsland in the areas of Homelessness including youth crisis accommodation, Tenancy advocacy and support, Community Connections (assisting vulnerable people connecting with services, health and support providers), Family Violence for women and children, Youth programs, Youth Justice programs, Out of Home Care including Foster Care, and leads the Orange Door (Inner Gippsland) initiative. Quantum uses it’s standing the community to promote awareness and addressing social issues, and working towards creating better health and wellbeing for Gippslanders.
