Lucien Blondel

Co-Founder & CTO at Quantum Surgical

Lucien Blondel has an extensive work experience in various fields. In 2001, they completed an internship as a Project Manager Assistant at CEA. From 2002 to 2003, they traveled around the world and then around Asia in 2009. In 2003, they joined MedTech SAS as a Chief Technical Officer and R&D Director. In 2011, they worked as a System Designer in Interventional Radiology at GE Healthcare. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Engineering Director of Robotics at Zimmer Biomet. In 2017, they co-founded Quantum Surgical and served as the CTO until 2022. In 2022, they founded the Less Invasive Podcast. Throughout their career, they have managed teams of up to 50 engineers, established IP strategies, and driven IP related activities.

Lucien Blondel obtained a MS Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, and Project/Quality Management from CentraleSupélec between 1998 and 2001.
