Xavier Carayol

Xavier Carayol has over 30 years of work experience in the field of DICOM, specializing in software architecture and project management. Xavier started their career at Sopha Medical as a Lead Software Engineer from 1990 to 1995. Xavier then worked at MEDASYS DIGITAL SYSTEMS as a DICOM Project Leader from 1995 to 1996, and later as a Technical Lead from 1996 to 1999. From 2001 to 2012, they joined Carestream Dental, where they held various roles including Program Manager and Product Owner, focusing on DICOM expertise. Most recently, since October 2019, Xavier has been working at Quantum Surgical SAS as a DICOM Expert and Software Architect.

Xavier Carayol obtained their Ingenieur degree in Automatique, Electronique, and Informatique from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse, graduating in 1988. Additionally, in the same year, they also completed a DEA in Automatique et Informatique Industrielle from the same institution.
