Marc Gibson

Marc Gibson, PhD MBA (LLM Candidate), serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Quantum Valley Ideas Lab since July 2023, leveraging expertise in scientific research and business administration to enhance operational excellence. Previously, Marc held the position of Director of Operations at Quantum Valley Ideas Laboratories from 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included establishing a not-for-profit research institute and overseeing the development of a quantum optics lab. Past roles include Operations Manager at Johnson & Johnson's JLABS in Toronto, and various leadership positions at the University of Waterloo that involved entrepreneurship program management and strategic planning. An academic background includes a PhD in Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery, an MBA, and current studies toward a Master of Laws in Business Law.
