Neil Daswani has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Neil currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at QuantumScape since January 2022. In 2019, they co-authored a book titled "Big Breaches: Cybersecurity Lessons for Everyone". Neil has also worked as the Co-Director of the Stanford Advanced Security Program at Stanford University since April 2005. Additionally, they have served as a Cyber/AI Operating Advisor at Bryce Catalyst since October 2020 and as an Advisor at DeepFactor, Byos, Security Leadership Capital, and Transform VC. Neil is the owner of Daswani Enterprises, a consulting company that focuses on teaching, book writing, and intellectual property development. Neil had also worked as an Advisor/CTO at Cyberinc from September 2019 to May 2021.

Neil Daswani completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at Columbia Engineering between 1992 and 1996. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Stanford University from 1997 to 2005.
