Paul Boughton

Paul Boughton is the current Chairman at Quartix UK. Paul has also held positions at AVENTICS, Brammer Group, IMI, and Consort Medical Plc.

Boughton began their career in 1991 as the Corporate Development Director at Spectris plc. Paul held this position for thirteen years before moving to Consort Medical Plc in 2005. Paul stayed at Consort Medical Plc for four years before being recruited by IMI in 2010. Boughton served as the Group Corporate Development Director at IMI for two years before taking on the same role at Brammer Group in 2013. Paul was with Brammer Group for three years and was responsible for leading their acquisition programme and building their footprint throughout Europe. In 2016, Advent International Corporation acquired Brammer Group.

In February 2017, Boughton became the Business Development Director at AVENTICS with a focus on growing the business through acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships in the United States and Europe. AVENTICS was sold to Emerson in July 2018. Following the sale of AVENTICS, Boughton returned to Quartix as Chairman.

Paul Boughton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from The University of Hull. Paul is certified by the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES in FCA.
