Matthew Velaer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
From 2006 to 2010, Matthew worked as an Account Manager and New Business Development professional at VitaMedica Corp., where they were responsible for managing and expanding relationships with plastic surgeons and dermatologists in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territories.
In 2012, they joined Acumen Entertainment as a Talent Manager, where they managed and coached a roster of over 300 actors. Matthew also facilitated opportunities for their professional growth through acting classes, workshops, and networking events.
From 2013 to 2015, Matthew worked as an Operations Manager at VitaMedica Corporation, collaborating with the COO to streamline business processes and manage inventory. Matthew also implemented a new ERP system and oversaw the national sales team.
Matthew then transitioned to Quartz Network in 2015, initially as the Conference Director for the CIO Visions & CISO Visions Summits. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of marketing, sales, and operations for these invitation-only IT executive trade shows.
In 2020, Matthew was promoted to Vice President of Customer Success at Quartz Network, where they worked closely with marketing, product, sales, and operations teams to establish processes and workflows for the Customer Success team. Matthew also played a pivotal role in enhancing customer communications, sales processes, and product improvements.
Most recently, in June 2022, Matthew took on the position of Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Quartz Network, where they continue to contribute to the organization's success by overseeing customer communications, sales processes, and product enhancements.
Matthew Velaer attended California State University-Long Beach - College of Business from 2006 to 2008. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
