Jason Scalzo

Jason Scalzo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2009, they served as the South Carolina Territory Manager for ArthroCare Corporation. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Territory Manager for Intersect ENT, where they successfully launched the Propel Sinus Implant in the South Carolina Territory and participated in an $85 million IPO.

From 2015 to 2018, Scalzo worked as an Enterprise Account Executive for Blackbaud, where they played a key role in launching a dedicated Healthcare Analytics Division and worked with top hospital systems and university medical centers nationally.

In 2018, they co-founded Boxing Is Love, a global non-profit organization that used boxing principles to empower children worldwide. The organization expanded to multiple countries, reaching an estimated 4,000 children/young adults and sourcing over 1,000 volunteers for mission trips.

Scalzo co-founded Barefoot Climb in 2020, a consultancy and talent management firm specializing in scaling personal and professional profiles through advanced technology and innovative branding strategies. Jason also formed a strategic portfolio by exchanging consulting services for company/project equity.

In 2021, they co-founded BXNG TV, a multimedia live-streaming platform for combat sports. The network has broadcasted over 100 PPV events per year and established partnerships with promoters in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.

Scalzo is currently working at Passion Tree Co as a Strategy Consultant and will join FuturumVC as a Partner in 2022.

Jason Scalzo earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston from 2000 to 2003. Jason later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business from the Darla Moore Business School at the University of South Carolina from 2012 to 2014.
