Patrick Swingle has held a variety of roles in the technology sector since 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Network Analyst at Thornton Communications. From 2001 to 2009, they worked at Sprint as a Transmission Operations Technician, Technical Project Manager, and Network Analyst. In 2017, they were a Fulltime Student at Chattanooga State Community College, pursuing an A.A.S. Engineering/Computer Information Technology - Networking degree. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Information Security Intern at EPB, where they completed a re-write of InfoSec standards based on NIST 800-53 and CSF, and created a corporate security risk tracker. From 2019 to 2020, they were an Information Technology Security Engineer at Airnet Group, Inc., responsible for implementing Microsoft security solutions to improve the cloud security posture of customer environments. Patrick Swingle has a diverse educational background. Patrick obtained a Diploma from R.L. Osborne High School in 1995-1999. In 2002-2004, they earned a Private Pilot degree from Superior Flight School in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. Patrick also attended Chattanooga State Community College from 2017-2018, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Engineering/Computer Information Technology - Networking. Additionally, they attended the Cisco Networking Academy in 2017-2018. Patrick has also obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Trainer 2020-2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
