Gellért Kovács

Gellért Kovács has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Gellért joined Qubiz in 2018, where they started as a Junior Software Developer and then progressed to the role of Software Developer. In this position, they worked with Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, Azure, SQL Server, and Angular. In 2022, Gellért became a Senior Software Developer / Tech Lead at Qubiz.

In addition to their work at Qubiz, Gellért had a role as a Lab Teacher at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2019, where they contributed to teaching and mentoring students.

Before joining Qubiz and the Technical University, Gellért had an internship at National Instruments. As a Software Engineer Intern, they gained valuable experience in building LabVIEW control software for various projects, including a Parrot AR.Drone. Gellért also worked as an Intern, focusing on LabVIEW projects to showcase the capabilities of the programming language.

Gellért Kovács completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Székely Mikó Theoretical Highschool from 2010 to 2014, where they focused on Mathematics and Infromathics. Aside from their formal education, they obtained additional certifications such as Programming in C# Certification from Microsoft in September 2019, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2013, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft in February 2022.
