Jill Hagler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jill currently works at Queen Creek Unified School District as an AP-DE English Literature & Composition Instructor, teaching a combination course of AP English Literature and Composition along with Dual Enrollment through Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Jill also serves as the English Department Co-Chair and a member of the Instructional Leadership Team. Prior to that, Jill worked at West Linn Wilsonville School District as a Substitute Teacher and later as a Co-Teacher/Intern, where they developed curriculum for the English Language Arts program. Jill also has experience as a Substitute Teacher at Washoe County School District. Outside of the education field, they worked as a Managing Member at Everything in Its Place, LLC and as a Data Architect at First Federal Savings Bank, where they oversaw document retention policies and managed electronic storage systems. Jill has previous experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Steven D. Peterson, PC, where they assisted with legal documents preparation, research, and billing. Jill also worked as a Freelance Technical Writer at Morrell Consulting, LLC, and as a Computer Technician at BYU Office of Information Technology, where they provided technical support and established internet connectivity.
Jill Hagler has a diverse education history. Jill obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Grand Canyon University. Prior to their master's degrees, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Brigham Young University. Jill also holds a High School Diploma from Twin Falls Senior High School.
In addition to their formal education, Jill has obtained various certifications. Jill is certified as an AVID Certified Instructor by AVID Center, as a Dual Enrollment Instructor by Chandler/Gilbert Community College, and as an AP College Board Certified Instructor by The College Board. Jill also holds a Standard Professional Teaching License from the Arizona Department of Education and a Preliminary Teaching License from the TSPC of Oregon.
