Angela Dobbie

Director of Equestrian at Queen Margaret's School

Angela Dobbie is the current Director of Equestrian at Queen Margaret's School. Angela has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Angela started their career in 1998 at Beyer Hospital and then transferred to Henry Ford Health System in 1999. At Henry Ford Hospital, Angela was a committed team member of the Oncology, Hematology, and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. Angela's responsibilities included supervising support staff, coordinating patient care, collaborating with doctors, and frequently served in the role of charge nurse. Daily tasks included the administration of chemotherapy and monitoring patients for side effects from their chemotherapy along with other medications. A significant amount of Angela's time was spent educating patients and their family members. Angela is proficient in the use and maintenance of intravenous accesses and has experience with PICC’s, medication ports, peripheral IV’s and various central lines.

After completing their undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota and Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, Angela Dobbie pursued a Master's degree in Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Eastern Michigan University. Angela is certified in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, as well as being a licensed Nursing provider and an ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider from the Oncology Nursing Society.

A direct report to Angela Dobbie is and Indiana Fedoriuk - Head Coach, School Program. Angela Dobbie reports to David Robertson, Head of School. Angela Dobbie works with Ander Monro - Deputy Head of School, Educational Programs, Thango Vu - Director of Finance & Operations, and Hayley Picard - Director of Communications & Marketing.
