Costa Badía Melis

Costa Badía Melis is a skilled professional with extensive experience in artistic programming and inclusivity, currently serving as a specialized consultant and co-coordinator for the Diverse Team at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía since March 2021. As the founder and director of La Tullida Gallery since June 2019, Costa Badía Melis aims to bridge the gap between art and disability, focusing on artistic proposals that derive from disability activism. Previous roles include artistic educator at various organizations and researcher for AFADIS, where Costa contributed to mapping the situation of women with disabilities in Europe. Costa holds a Master's degree in Artistic Education from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the same institution.
