Queens Botanical Garden
Suri Lin currently serves as the Director of the AsianPassion Program since March 2021 and holds several roles including Student Researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since June 2022, Education Intern at Queens Botanical Garden since March 2022, and President of Revolutionize STEM since February 2022. Additionally, Suri Lin is involved with Girls Who Code as a SIP Participant since July 2023 and participated in the International Young Researchers' Conference at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in summer 2023. Recent attendance at the Global Health Leaders Conference at Johns Hopkins University as a student attendee occurred in summer 2023, alongside experience as a Field Biology Intern at Alley Pond Environmental Center from February to May 2023. Suri Lin is currently pursuing education at The Bronx High School of Science from 2020 to 2024.

Queens Botanical Garden is an urban oasis where people, plants, and cultures are celebrated through inspiring gardens, innovative educational programs, and demonstrations of environmental stewardship. ********************************************************************************************************************************** Located at the northeast corner of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Flushing, QBG evolved from the 5-acre “Gardens on Parade” exhibit showcased at the 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair. Officially opening as Queens Botanical Garden in 1948 after local residents saved and grew the original exhibit, QBG has become a 39-acre urban oasis in one of the city’s most bustling and diverse neighborhoods. QBG is an urban oasis where people, plants and cultures are celebrated through inspiring gardens, innovative educational programs and real-world applications of environmental stewardship. QBG is located on property owned by the City of New York, and its operation is made possible in part by public funds provided through the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Queens Borough President, the New York City Council, State elected officials, the New York State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, along with corporate, foundation, and individual supporters.
