Ronda Rufsvold

Ronda Rufsvold is an experienced educator and specialist in the field of special education, currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of the Pacific and a Special Education Intern Field Coach for the Sacramento County Office of Education. Ronda has held various positions, including Special Education Program Specialist at Elk Grove Unified School District and Natomas Charter School, and Teleinterventionist at Weingarten Children's Center. Ronda also contributes as the Listening and Spoken Language Data Repository Project Manager at OPTION SCHOOLS INC. Past roles include teaching and coordination in support of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals at institutions such as the NYC Department of Education, Auditory Oral School of NY, and CCHAT. Ronda holds a PhD in Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Columbia University, a Master of Education in Special Education: Deaf and Hard of Hearing from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific.
