Oswald Araujo currently serves as the Director of School-Based Beacon Community Centers at Queens Community House, a position held since September 2017. Prior to this role, Oswald Araujo worked at The Child Center of NY as both Community School Director and Beacon Director from December 2011 to April 2017. Oswald Araujo's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Programming and Literacy & Arts Coordinator at Queens Community House, along with roles at the Corporation for National and Community Service, YMCA of Greater New York, and New York Hall of Science. Oswald Araujo holds a B.A. in Sociology and Urban Studies from Queens College and several certificates in nonprofit management and workforce development from Baruch College and the City University of New York, as well as executive coaching training from Community Resource Exchange.
