John Margolies Esq. is an experienced attorney currently serving in the Felony Trial Bureau III at the Queens District Attorney's Office, managing approximately 70 felony cases from indictment through trial. Previously, John held multiple roles within the same office, including management of a caseload of around 130 misdemeanor cases in the Criminal Court Bureau and early case assessments in the Intake Bureau. John gained practical legal experience as a Clinical Prosecution Practicum Extern with the Suffolk County District Attorney, overseeing personal cases under supervision and assisting Assistant District Attorneys. Additional experience includes a Law Fellowship at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and internships with the Suffolk County District Attorney and Rockland County District Attorney's Office. John earned a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor's degree in History and Politics from Boston University.
