Laura Godfrey

Laura Godfrey currently serves as the Director of Juvenile Prosecutions at the Queens District Attorney's Office, a position held since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Training Unit Counsel at the NYC Law Department, Assistant General Counsel and DAO at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, and Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney Office. Earlier in her career, Laura worked as a Teaching Assistant at Lewis and Clark Law School and a Law Clerk at the Oregon Department of Justice. Laura also served as an Assistant Managing Editor at Penguin Group USA. Laura Godfrey holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Lewis and Clark College, a Certificate in Editing and Publishing from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
