Philip Amur is an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens District Attorney's Office as of September 2023. Amur previously held the position of Legal Intern at the Office of the New York State Attorney General and served as a Legal Aide in the Division of Investigations at the Office of the NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli. Prior experience includes a role as a Litigation Clerk at the Goldwater Institute and Legal Intern with the Unified Court System of New York State. Amur also worked as a Legislative Aide in the Oregon House of Representatives and participated as a Legislative Intern in the Oregon State Senate. Additional experience includes teaching Spanish and contributing as a Debate Member and Captain at Willamette University, along with serving as a Staff Writer for the Willamette Collegian. Philip Amur earned a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish Language from Willamette University, supplemented by a Diploma in Spanish from Universidad de Granada.
