Maureen Shanahan Atchison serves as the Director of Global Corporate Communications at TikTok since 2020, overseeing communications related to corporate, product, policy, privacy, and security. Simultaneously, Maureen acts as a Strategic Advisor for Queens Gaming Collective, advocating for diversity and inclusion in the gaming industry. Previous roles include Head of Communications at Skillz Inc., where the company gained recognition as one of FastCo’s Most Innovative Companies, and Head of Corporate Communications at Coinbase, focused on defining the future of finance. Prior to these positions, Maureen held significant roles at SKDKnickerbocker as Senior Vice President, Sony Pictures Entertainment as Vice President and Director of Worldwide Publicity, and various press and communications roles within the U.S. House of Representatives.
