Debra Wimpfheimer

Debra Wimpfheimer currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Queens Museum, a position held since February 2008, where responsibilities include overseeing key initiatives, strategic planning, and operations. Previous roles at the Queens Museum included Interim Director, where Debra managed organizational crises and leadership transitions, and Director of Strategic Partnerships, focusing on community engagement and collaborations for the museum's capital expansion. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Special Projects at Lincoln Center during its 50th Anniversary celebration, Director of External Affairs at the Queens Museum of Art, and Annual Fund Coordinator at Boston Medical Center. Debra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Soviet and Eastern European Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
