David Jones is a trustee at Queens University of Charlotte. Prior to their current position, David was with Outa Breath as their Volunteer Director from January 1998 to December 2015. As Volunteer Director, David partnered with associates to co-lead organizational committees, participated in marketing campaigns and fundraising opportunities, and assisted with charitable event planning and execution. David led volunteer teams to organize and host an annual event requiring year long preparations. David also built enduring partnerships with 15 vendors and negotiated specialized vendor contracts to obtain future event support.

David has many key accomplishments from their time as Volunteer Director. David managed a 30-person volunteer team, organized event preparations, and hosted a one-day annual festival that generated significant financial support for multiple charitable organizations. David also led charity selection committees that conducted research and interviews designed to find eligible candidates with aligned business goals and strategies that would increase event publicity and support. Over 30 charities received a combined total of $300K in donations as a result of these efforts. Lastly, David trained with volunteer team and raised donations while covering a 200 square mile territory; team recognized by the organization as top five contributor.

David Jones obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Afterward, they took a Concise Course in Brewing Technology from the Siebel Institute of Technology. David also obtained Series 6, 63, and 7 Licenses from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). Lastly, they passed the Certification in CFP (Certified Financial Planner) Financial Planning Program from Queens University of Charlotte.
