Kylie Devine-Hewitt

Kylie Devine-Hewitt is a seasoned professional in the field of communities and communications, currently serving as Principal Communities and Communications at Queensland Alumina Limited since September 2023. Previously, Kylie held the role of Manager Communities & Communications at Rio Tinto from September 2019 to September 2023, and prior to that, served as Principal Advisor Communications and Communities at Queensland Alumina Limited (a Rio Tinto entity) from July 2016 to September 2019. Kylie's career at Rio Tinto began as a Community Relations Graduate, progressing through various positions including Community Relations Specialist and Community Relations Advisor from February 2012 to July 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Change and Development with a focus on Organisational Leadership and Capacity Building from the University of Newcastle (2014-2017), completion of a Leadership Development Program at the University of Melbourne (2017), and a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations) from the University of Newcastle (2008-2011).
