Brett Morrison

Brett Morrison is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security and information technology, currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Advisor with the Queensland Government, focusing on enhancing cyber resilience across various government entities since July 2023. Prior to this role, Brett held multiple positions at Fraser Coast Regional Council, including Acting Executive Manager Information Services and Manager Information Technology, from October 2019 to July 2023. Brett's experience extends to Hyne Timber, where leadership roles included Information Services Technical Team Leader and project lead on various cyber security initiatives and cloud migration efforts from August 2008 to October 2019. Earlier in the career, Brett worked as an IT Technical Support Officer at Dale and Meyers from 2005 to 2008.
