Ethan Clissold

Ethan Clissold is a seasoned media and communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, currently serving as Manager - Media and Issues for the Queensland Government since July 2025. Prior to this role, Ethan held the position of Corporate Media and Communications Manager at Sunshine Coast Airport from March 2023 to July 2025. Ethan's career includes a progression at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services from April 2016 to March 2023, where the titles of Media Supervisor and Senior Media Officer were held. Earlier experience includes roles at CQ Rescue as Media Relations & Events Manager and Rescue Crew Officer, and at Sunshine Coast Council as Events & Operations Officer. Ethan earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of the Sunshine Coast and completed high school at Siena Catholic College, receiving a Grade 12 Certificate.
