Jess Varley

Jess Varley is an accomplished professional in the field of props and staging, currently serving as the Head of Props for Moulin Rouge The Musical Australia since May 2021. With extensive experience at QPAC as a Staging Mech since April 2006, Jess has also held significant roles such as Head of Props for both Billy Elliot The Musical and The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities included overseeing props and contributing to creative designs. Prior experience at The Walt Disney Company involved positions as Deputy Head of Masks and Puppets and as a Props specialist for War Horse Australia. Jess Varley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from James Cook University, complemented by earlier education at Noosa District State High School.
