Matthew Firth

Matthew Firth is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in risk management and emergency response. Currently serving as Security Manager at Queensland Performing Arts Centre since July 2022, previous roles include Incident & Emergency Advisor at Seqwater and Risk and Security Manager at Scentre Group. Matthew has also held positions as Training Manager at Corporate Protection Australia Group, Support Manager and Training Coordinator at MSS Security, and Operations Manager at Verifact Pty Ltd. Matthew’s foundational experience includes a tenure in Counter Terrorism with the Australian Federal Police. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Workplace Health & Safety from Asset College, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment from Pro-Systems Training, and a Certificate III in Security Studies from QLD Tafe, complemented by a Recruit Course in Policing and Counter Terrorism from the Australian Federal Police.
