Simon Woods

Simon Woods is a versatile filmmaker and photographer currently working at Moxie Film & Digital since December 2014, specializing in film and digital production across various content types. In addition, Simon serves as a Digital Content Producer for the Queensland Performing Arts Centre since August 2022, blending expertise in theatre and film. Simon holds extensive teaching experience as a Masterclass instructor for Suzuki Actor Training with both the Suzuki Company of Toga and Saratoga International Theatre Institute. As a co-founder and former Artistic Director of Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre from January 1992 to December 2019, Simon contributed significantly to the Australian performance landscape. Previous notable roles include multimedia designer for the commemorative production “ARMISTICE” at QPAC, Senior Producer for the World Science Festival, and producer for both Brisbane Powerhouse and QPAC. Simon's academic background includes multiple degrees in Drama and Jungian Psychology from The University of Queensland, QUT, and various institutions focused on psychological studies.
