Cary Bignell

Cary Bignell serves as the Change & Internal Communications Manager at Urban Utilities since January 2022. Previously, Cary held the role of Communications Lead at Great Southern Bank, overseeing the change communications during its rebranding from CUA. With extensive experience in corporate communications, Cary was the Director of Corporate Communications and Internal Communications at Transport for NSW, where a comprehensive internal communications function was established during significant structural changes affecting a vast employee base. Additional roles include Acting GM of Internal Communications at nbn™ Australia and Change Communications Lead at Westpac, among others. Cary's educational background includes a Bachelor of Communications with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Technology Sydney and participation in various leadership and change management programs.
