Laura Donnelly

Laura Donnelly is an experienced professional in digital communications and project management, currently serving as the Head of Digital at Queer Town since September 2024. Prior to this role, Laura worked at the Australian Football League, managing digital projects and creative initiatives, including AFL Mint and DEI projects, while holding positions as Photography Unit Manager and Creative Projects Manager from March 2022 to October 2024. As Communications Manager at the Koorie Youth Council between December 2020 and February 2022, Laura advocated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth rights. Earlier roles include Newsroom Producer at the Foundation for Young Australians, where Laura established a national youth newsroom, Digital Communications Manager at the Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship, and Digital Communications Officer at Youth Affairs Council Victoria. Laura earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Communications from RMIT University between 2012 and 2017.
