Maja Piatek

Maja Piatek has worked in various industries starting from L'ORO DI NAPOLI as a Service Staff where they improved the training and streamlined processes. Maja worked as a Laboratory Assistant at The University of Manchester, Brain Inflammation Laboratory, where they collected and analyzed data for research on the effect of targeting inflammatory proteins in neurodegenerative diseases. As a Merchandise Associate at TK MAXX, Maja oversaw two departments and analyzed previous sales data to optimize merchandising and advertising tactics to increase sales. At Charles River Laboratories, they worked as an Experienced Biologics Manufacturing Operator responsible for producing plasmid DNA for commercial and clinical supply, leading deviations investigations, and implementing CAPAs and SOP updates. Currently, Maja has joined Quell Therapeutics as a Production Scientist I.

Maja Piatek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from The University of Manchester from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their A levels and GCSEs at Cardinal Wiseman RC School from 2009 to 2016, achieving A grades in Biology, B grades in Chemistry and Math, and 10 GCSEs with A*-B grades, including Math and English.
