Quest for Justice
Lack of access to civil justice is one of the most significant challenges of our time. Research states that less than 25% of civil defendants nationally have a lawyer, in some states it can be as low as 10-20%, down from almost 100% in 1992. Millions more don't even try to get civil justice because of high attorney costs and the unbearable complexity of the civil justice system. At Quest for Justice, we are empowering ordinary people with technology to be their own hero in the pursuit of civil justice. Our mission is to develop an end-to-end solution for self-represented litigants in civil courts, allowing them to manage their case and to work with litigation support service providers throughout the entire process. The solution helps ordinary people manage all the information, documents, and steps to resolve a dispute. The solution will also help them take advantage of a new type of legal support service: limited-scope representation. For too many, civil justice is increasingly out of reach. Without bold action, this civil justice gap threatens to undermine our society and way of life. Quest for Justice believes in the power of technology to empower ordinary people. We are on a mission to help them get the civil justice they deserve.
