Pranoy Ray Chowdhury

Pranoy Ray Chowdhury is a Lead Engineer at Quest Global since August 2024, bringing extensive experience in the wind energy sector. Prior to this role, Pranoy served as a Specialist Engineer in Wind & Site at Wind Pioneers from January 2019 to August 2024, where responsibilities included managing wind data services, developing wind-related tools for site development, and optimizing energy assessment. Earlier positions included Wind Engineer, focusing on micro siting, layout design, and energy yield estimates, as well as an Engineer at ACCIONA Energía, responsible for wind resource assessments in India, and a Project Assistant at the National Institute of Wind Energy, where Pranoy planned and supervised the installation of met masts for wind resource mapping. Pranoy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from AVIT, Chennai, completed in 2016.
