Enda Bergin

Enda Bergin is an experienced editorial leader in the field of chemistry and biotechnology, currently serving as Editorial Director for Chemistry and Biotechnology at Nature Communications since July 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of 40 PhD-trained editors. Previously, Enda successfully launched Nature Catalysis in January 2018 and has held various editorial roles within Nature Communications, managing content related to organic and analytical chemistry. Enda's academic background includes a position as a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at Trinity College Dublin, where a research group was established, along with previous research and fellowship roles at institutions such as the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia. Enda holds a BSc in Chemistry from University College Dublin.
