Menglei Jiang

Menglei Jiang is a material design engineer at QuesTek Innovations LLC since September 2022, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the MIT Department of Materials Science and Engineering from January 2022 to August 2022, and as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from October 2016 to January 2022. Menglei Jiang's research focus includes stainless steels development, encompasssing design-criteria development, thermodynamic calculations, alloy prototype casting, and optimization of thermomechanical processing, along with the characterization of microstructural and mechanical performances. Additionally, Menglei Jiang has worked on healable metastable alloy design, involving phase transformation kinetics during deformation and heat treatment, microstructural characterization, and multi-axial mechanical performance evaluation. Menglei Jiang holds a Doctor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT (2022), a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT (2018), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Sciences and Engineering from Tsinghua University (2015).
